What is Hello in There?

Since 2012, the Hello in There program has enriched the lives of Saskatchewan seniors through memory sharing art projects led by local artists. At the core of this program is a question: Can the lives of seniors living in care facilities be enriched through creative engagement and arts programming? After eight years of programming, the answer is, unquestionably, YES.

While many artists and volunteers have supported the program, Hello in There is what it is today thanks to Project Artist Chrystene Ells. Our gratitude goes out to Chrystene for capturing her process through the below resource, which was developed to support long term care homes across Saskatchewan in adopting the Hello in There program model for use with the seniors they serve.
