WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Since 1992, Common Weal Community Arts has stoked the fire of social change in Saskatchewan. We shine a light on diverse experiences, inspiring dialogue and connection through participatory arts programming. Our focus on advocacy within communities is blazing a trail for a brighter future.

Please consider becoming a monthly supporter or making a one-time donation today. All donations over $10 will receive a charitable tax receipt.

Your support can do so much:

A monthly contribution of $10 or annual donation up to $250 supports memory-sharing workshop materials for care-home residents, buffalo hide for traditional indigenous teachings, or honorariums for emerging mentee artists.

A monthly contribution of $25 or annual donation up to $500 supports venue rental for public gatherings, a workshop facilitation fee for a professional artist, or professional development for Common Weal staff.

A monthly contribution of $50 or annual donation up to $1,000 supports fees for a professional artist to spend a full day in the community, mileage for workshops in rural and remote areas, or the annual cost of keeping our website online.

A monthly contribution of $100 or annual donation up to $5,000 could support monthly wages for an artist-in-residence, honorariums and consultation fees for program evaluation and community consultation, or supporting community partnerships like Theatre in the Park, SKribe Youth Poetics Festival, or the Peace Bird Project.

A monthly contribution of $500 or annual donations between $5,000 and $9,999 supports monthly wages for our staff team, an exploratory or pilot project to investigate future programming possibilities, or annual rent for our Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert offices.

Donations of $10,000 or more could inspire new initiatives and help contribute to the sustainability of our organization. If you or your business would like to make a contribution of this size to Common Weal Community Arts, please reach out to our Development Coordinator Ian Cameron to discuss how we can best partner with you. There’s no end to the “blue sky” dreaming we’ve been doing, and we’d love to chat with you about how we can work together to make these dreams a reality.

Your support of Common Weal Community Arts is a powerful way of helping shape the arts in Saskatchewan, and ensuring we are able to partner with communities across the province to provide socially-engaged arts programming. Thank you!
